Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Country Manager to lead and expand BMA Group’s operations in the Dominican Republic. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in distribution or logistics management, preferably within the manufacturing or consumer goods sector, and a deep understanding of local market dynamics. This role is critical to supporting our key clients—including one of the largest cervecerías in the country—by delivering high-impact workforce and operational solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:
Lead the local business unit with full P&L responsibility, developing and executing country-specific strategies in alignment with BMA Group’s regional goals.

Client Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including high-volume manufacturing and distribution accounts. Serve as a trusted advisor for operational, staffing, and compliance solutions.

Business Development:
Identify new market opportunities and develop partnerships that expand BMA Group’s presence in the Dominican Republic. Champion the brand and represent the company at industry events and forums.

Operational Oversight:
Ensure effective delivery of staffing, outsourcing, and background verification services. Oversee the local team to meet performance KPIs, compliance standards, and client SLAs.

Team Leadership:
Recruit, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team. Foster a culture of collaboration, performance excellence, and professional development.

Regulatory Compliance:
Stay abreast of local labor laws, employment regulations, and industry standards to ensure ethical and compliant operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.

7+ years of leadership experience, preferably in distribution, logistics, or workforce outsourcing, ideally serving manufacturing or FMCG clients.

Strong understanding of Dominican labor regulations and market dynamics.

Proven experience managing large-scale client accounts and operational teams.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency required.

Familiarity with HR outsourcing, talent acquisition, or background screening services is highly desirable.
