Country Manager

**Key Responsibilities**
**Sales & Profitability Management:**
+ Achievement of Quarterly and Annual targets for FLS, SLS & Profitability as per Budget plan.
+ Improve & implement plans for effective growth & profitability by enhancing PMPM, improving territory & brand performances v/s market indicators, controlling expenses and collection.
+ Develop and maintain close partnership with key customers and ensure proper implementation of all customer-oriented programs.
+ Develop / Partner with MPD to develop and implement detailed brand plans with close monitoring of ROI.
**Business Strategy:**
+ Understand the political & macro-economic scenario in the country that can potentially impact Pharma industry or the company
+ Prepare long and short-term business plan for the country by identifying potential growth opportunities by enhancing product portfolio, pricing strategy, market share etc. in line with countrys macro environment and company strategy
+ Identify growth opportunities by working with BD/MPD for Business Case Preparation for new product ideas, In licensing or JV opportunities
**Team Management:**
+ Structure the organization optimally to meet business objectives of sales, growth and productivity.
+ Effectively manage team from recruitment, engagement, retention, rewards & performance management of talent
+ Develops team to ensure that it achieve short term priorities and long-term objectives **.**
+ Talent Management for key employees & Succession planning for key roles, ensures people development in the country & promotes consistent and cohesive work culture
+ Ensures compliance, statutory & labour legislative requirements and demonstrates good corporate governance
**Distribution management:**
+ Evaluation, Selection, & Management of distributor, where ever applicable, by defining effective terms & conditions.
+ Inventory management
+ Partner with Global Supply chain function and ensures effective co-ordination for effective Order to delivery cycle with forecast accuracy. Anticipates the issues and plans for continuous product availability in the country.
+ Maps and measures the channel wise supply in the country and takes effective measures to optimize availability of goods across the country.
**General Management:**
+ Establish systems in the country for effective operations complying with both SUN standards and country rules and regulations pertaining to labour, taxation, imports, sales, distribution, product promotion etc.
+ Ensures compliance to local regulatory, health policies and labour laws.
+ Establish strong financial controllership by putting relevant controls in place.
+ To be well versed and updated with knowledge of regulatory requirements of the country/market patent rules and regulations, trademark registrations, Inspections and study requirements and set up systems in place to ensure timely registration of products.
