Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the country market strategy to grow the company’s presence in Romania.
Identify and pursue opportunities within the power, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors.
Build and maintain relationships with utilities, government entities, EPC contractors, and major industrial clients.
Lead business development activities including project identification, tender participation, negotiations, and contract execution.
Manage the complete sales and project coordination process, ensuring alignment between local stakeholders and international teams.
Represent the company in meetings with key industry partners, regulators, and customers.
Monitor local market policies, regulatory developments, and competitor activity.
Achieve agreed sales targets, revenue goals, and budget responsibilities for the country.
Coordinate closely with headquarters to ensure successful implementation of projects and market initiatives.
Provide market insights and strategic recommendations to support long-term growth.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years of experience in international business development or market expansion within the energy, power, or electrical equipment sectors.
Proven ability to develop a market from early-stage entry to sustainable growth.
Strong understanding of the local energy ecosystem, regulatory environment, and customer landscape.
Experience managing large-scale projects or infrastructure-related sales cycles.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and decision makers.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills.
Ability to operate independently and represent the company at a senior level.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, energy, business, or a related field.
Languages
Fluent English is required.
Chinese language proficiency is required as a working language.
Knowledge of the local language is an advantage.
