Cheyenne Mountain Resort opened in 1985 and sits on 25 acres of land. The 4-Star Full Service property is nestled in the lush greens of Southern Colorado Springs and oversees impressive mountain views, along with exciting activities like golf, swimming, and tennis. These allow for the unique experience that you can only get at this resort.
**Salary Range** : $65,000-$72,000 commensurate with experience.
**Position Overview** : The Country Club Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for leading and managing operations for Gates Grille and seasonal venues, located in the Country Club of Colorado. This includes daily restaurant operations, bar service, cart service, pool side F&B service, and special events.
**Job Duties & Responsibilities** :
+ Oversee all daily Food & Beverage operations in alignment with Hyatt brand standards.
+ Drive exceptional guest/member experiences by ensuring consistent execution of Hyatt’s service culture and hospitality standards.
+ Partner with the culinary leadership on menu development, seasonal programming
+ Support the financial performance of the department through revenue-driving initiatives, effective labor management, and adherence to established budgets and cost controls in partnership with the Director of Food & Beverage.
+ Analyze operational reports (sales mix, productivity, guest satisfaction scores, payroll, and inventory) to drive profitability and continuous improvement.
+ Ensure compliance with Hyatt operating standards, local/state health regulations, alcohol service laws, and corporate audit requirements.
+ Collaborate with Country Club and Resort Leadership to plan and execute tournaments and special events that meet guest/member expectations.
+ Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation.
+ Champion Hyatt’s colleague culture by recruiting, training, coaching, and developing team members to foster engagement, accountability, and service excellence.
+ Provide ongoing performance management, recognition, and corrective coaching in alignment with established practices.
+ Ensure all colleagues receive training in brand standards, guest engagement, food safety, alcohol service, and resort operational procedures.
+ Monitor and respond to guest and member feedback to continuously elevate the dining experience.
+ Partner cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless resort-wide guest experiences.
**Qualifications:**
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with guests, members, colleagues, and resort leadership.
+ Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, service-driven resort environment while managing multiple outlets and priorities simultaneously.
+ Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound operational decisions in dynamic and evolving situations.
+ Ability to interpret and implement brand standards, operating procedures, service guidelines, and scheduling directives with accuracy and consistency.
+ Strong organizational, time-management, and leadership skills with a hands-on, floor-focused management style.
+ Minimum of 5 years of progressive food and beverage management experience, preferably with a country club, or golf-focused property.
+ Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods in alignment with resort operations.
