Position Summary
Performs case management with clients who have a severe and persistent mental illness. Group Therapy for clients with severe and persistent mental illness.
Primary Position Responsibilities
Facilitates Group therapy.
Case Management and care coordination for assigned clients.
Insurance verification and authorization.
Management of therapeutic milieu.
Accurately and completely documents client contact.
Maintains JCAHO standards and DMHAS, Medicaid, and HBH policies and regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Preferred:
2 Years of experience with clients with severe and persistent mental illness
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required:
Knowledge of the DSM-5
Preferred:
De-escalation Techniques, Group Therapy expertise
