About the Role

We are seeking a Casual Counsellor to deliver high-quality counselling services to our clients in school programs, with travel across Wollongong - Shellharbour Regions.

What You’ll Do

Deliver Therapeutic Support – Provide professional counselling aligned with preferred models.Client-Centred Planning – Develop and maintain clear, achievable case plans in collaboration with clients.Community Engagement – Promote the service through local partnerships, forums, and resource development.Compliance & Documentation – Maintain accurate records that meet organisational, legislative, and funding requirements.Continuous Development – Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or similarNSW Driver’s LicenceGraduate membership with PACFA, AASW, APS or equivalentMinimum 160 hours of client contact in counsellingExperience in family, couple, or child/adolescent counsellingStrong communication and assessment skills
