I-9 Program & E-Verify Leadership
Advise on enterprise-wide I-9 policies, process controls, and audit readinessLead reverification cadence and remote inspection pathwaysEnsure documentation is compliant and regulator-readyWork Visa Sponsorship & Case StrategyProvide strategic counsel on visa sponsorship feasibility, timing, and riskManage outside immigration counsel and digital case platformsDevelop nonimmigrant/immigrant visa (NIV/IV) strategies to support business needsPolicy Development & Training
Draft accessible, practical guidance and toolkitsDeliver training on I-9, E-Verify, and immigration best practicesEmployment Law CounselingProvide day-to-day legal guidance on hiring, onboarding, accommodations, wage/hour, investigations, and workforce transitionsAdvise on compliance with Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, ADEA, and other employment lawsAudits & Special Projects
Lead internal audits and compliance reviews related to I-9 and immigrationSupport due diligence for acquisitions and organizational changesGlobal MobilityOffer guidance on multinational mobility and compliance across jurisdictionsVendor & Platform Management
Oversee relationships with outside counsel and technology providersEnsure efficient, cost-effective delivery of legal immigration servicesEducation and Experience
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution (Required)Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Required)5+ years of relevant legal experience, including:U.S. employment-based immigration (NIV and IV)I-9 and E-Verify compliance, including remote inspection and auditsEmployment law counseling for HR-related mattersTitle VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and FLSA knowledgeTravel is requiredWork Location
This is a remote role with travel required. While the position is open to remote candidates across the U.S., preferred home office locations include Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Charlotte, NC; or Scottsdale, AZ due to team collaboration and business travel considerations.Supervisory Responsibilities

Compensation offered for this role is $120,000.00 - $166,000.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
