We're looking for Counsel that will be based in Jakarta.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Provide timely legal analysis, advice (on [insert subject matter areas]), representation, negotiation and documentation in a wide variety of [PMI Affiliate] management initiatives and other matters in accordance with the intentions of business and legal management and company policies. Share issues of common interest with the members of the Law Department including information on developments in Community law and best practices for advising clients and organizing workflow.Structure and ensure implementation of development plans for direct reports (currently [to be named] direct reports), if any.To ensure the provision of optimal legal support for [PMI Affiliate] and certain Affiliate and Region project teams through both internal and external resources.To assist Senior Counsel in implementation departmental plans and objectives within PMI’s business in [markets to be defined] Support the Senior Counsel [PMI Affiliate] with respect to [subject matter areas/matters which are assigned] in order to support the business of the Affiliates.Support the Senior Counsel in the review of the Affiliate’s business proposals for consistency with laws, company policies and the terms of the proposed transactions. To follow developments in the Affiliate’s business to ensure legal compliance and identify legal issues for management.To remain current and knowledgeable with respect to current and pending legislation, case law and administrative regulations pertinent to [subject matter areas/matters assigned] and providing accurate and timely information to Management of [PMI Affiliate] and supervisor in relation to relevant legal developments.Assisting in setting, and managing, budgets for the Law Department of [PMI Affiliate].Participate on project teams, ensuring that their decisions and recommendations protect the legal interests of the company, and execute decisions to achieve objectives on a timely basis. Provide training on legal issues to employees of [PMI Affiliate] as needed.

 

HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in LawMinimum 5 years experience as Lawyer/Legal/ related experienceHave good analytical and Interpesonal skill
