Job DescriptionDevelop, analyze, and negotiate commercial agreements, including incentives, consulting, sponsorships, marketing initiatives, and technology service agreementProvide legal advice on relevant payment industry regulation in the Andean RegionDraft, update, and develop template contractsProvide legal advice and support to Visa’s business development initiatives in the Andean RegionSupport the marketing team on revision of terms and conditions and marketing material of commercial campaignsProvide general legal support and advice to Visa’s business in connection with existing client relationships, business development activities, regulatory issues, and development and launch of new products and servicesWork with other members of the legal department and outside counsel to manage local claims and litigations matters and address legal issues in various areas of the law, including antitrust, privacy, and intellectual propertyDraft and coordination of corporate governance documents of Visa’s local vehicles, including board and shareholder meeting minutesQualificationsBasic Qualifications
J.D. with strong academic credentials and admitted to practice law in and member in good standing of Colombian Bar Association
Specialization in Commercial Law or Financial Law
At least 7 years of relevant work experience at a top national law firm and or at a global corporation
Preferred Qualifications
Highly organized with excellent research and analytical skills
Fluent in English and Spanish
Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and adept at working independently or in a team on multiple and varied tasks
Ability to perform under pressure and capable of working collaboratively with employees throughout the company
