As Counsel on the CBRE Procurement Legal team, you will partner closely and collaboratively with the procurement team and internal stakeholders regarding a diverse set of engagements and solutions. The primary focus will be effective and efficient negotiations, expert guidance and risk assessment. **What You’ll Do:** + Review and negotiate documents and review for compliance with CBRE’s requirements and various statutory requirements. + Agreements of focus include supplier Professional Services, Software as a Service, Software, Products and Events. + Understanding of intellectual property ownership terms, deliverables, liability-related concerns, confidentiality provisions, privacy requirements (such as DPAs) and information security measures. + Provide legal counsel and guidance to managers, executives, and employees on legal aspects of various business lines. + Represent the company during contract negotiations. + Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems. + Possess a wide understanding of own field and some understanding of various fields within the function. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. + Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team. + Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. + Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations. **What You’ll Need:** To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. The minimum salary for the Counsel, Procurement position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Counsel, Procurement position is $130,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
