Description
As the Cost Transformation Manager, you will be instrumental in transforming the profitability of the business, enabling investment to accelerate topline growth This position owns the identification, prioritization, and delivery of transformation initiatives that structurally improve cost performance while preserving the brand’s competitive desirability. Acting as a function-agnostic strategic partner, this role indirectly leads cross functional subject matter experts to deliver against the savings funnel target and be the connected tissue to keep laser focus on landing gross margin improvement.

What You’ll Do
+ Own In-Year Cost Savings Delivery: Accountable for identifying, validating, and delivering committed in-year cost savings across total value chain. Partner finance to ensure savings are credible, auditable, and reflected in financial results.
+ Build & Maintain a Multi-Year Value Creation Pipeline: Develop and manage a 3-year cost transformation pipeline aligned to gross margin ambitions and strategic priorities. Continuously refresh, mature, and prioritize initiatives based on value, feasibility, and execution readiness.
+ Lead Cross-Functional Cost Transformation Initiatives: Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, from opportunity sizing through execution and benefit realization. Navigate trade-offs between cost, service, complexity, and risk, providing clear recommendations to leadership through sharp, data driven stakeholder presentations.
+ Maintain and Refine Cost Governance & Ways of Working: Instill culture of cost savings in the organization. Create and share meaningful monthly updates on progress.
+ Enable Margin-Accretive Decision Making: Support leadership team with scenario analysis, business cases, and financial insights to inform network, sourcing, and investment decisions. Ensure cost considerations are embedded early in innovation, portfolio, and operational planning discussions.
Requirements
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field.
+ Experience: 6-10+ years in industry with experience in project management. CPG strongly preferred.
+ Leadership: Proven ability to manage complex stakeholders and influence cross-functional alignment.
+ Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate business goals into actionable strategies.
+ Digital & Analytical Acumen: Experience with dashboards and building cost models.
+ Change Management: Experience leading transformation and continuous improvement programs.
+ Communication: Strong storytelling, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Annual Base Compensation range: $120,000 - $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
