Key Responsibilities
Drive execution of cost-out projects to actualize real savings Identify cost out-projects/areas of opportunities through design optimization, identify bottle neck processes in plant through Gemba walk by collaborating with engineering, operations, quality, program management, sourcing and service teamsPerform extensive data dives on EBOM Vs MBOM Vs ABOM to identify gaps in processesAnalyze current design/process, produce and present technical feasibility report, recommend alternate concepts, create value story/ROI Input collection, project execution, toll gate reviews, support project actualization and query resolutionLead and support cost-out project technical review meetings.Ability to interpret with minimal available detailsWe are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day. Pay Range: $55K- $75K
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Experience
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical/production/electrical) or Operations Management from an accredited college or universityMinimum of 2 years of cost out experience in a manufacturing environment (Sheet metal/fabrication/Welding/Assembly processes)Strong understanding of supply chain and shop operationsWillingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the timeAbility to lead and influence cross-functional stakeholdersEffective communication and presentation skillsStrong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skillsSiemens NX and TCE experience- Desired LEAN certification DesiredExpertise in MS office
