Overview

Join our Project & Programme Management (PPM) Infrastructure team in Dublin and work on some of Ireland’s most prestigious construction projects across rail, highways, utilities, energy, and aviation.

We seek an ambitious Cost Manager with proven infrastructure experience to support business growth and deliver excellence. This role involves managing delivery, winning new work, and maintaining high technical standards while fostering collaboration and aligning with AtkinsRéalis digital vision. You’ll work closely with strategic partners, clients, and internal teams to drive success.

Your role

Reporting into the Head of Discipline, you will be a member of the PPM Infrastructure Cost & Estimating management team responsible for growing the existing team and building long term, sustainable team relationships with our Complex Infrastructure clients.Further enhance our Cost Management capability including the development and use of Power-BI, PRISM, Oracle and other Cost Management related software.Contributing to our community of best practice and drive technical excellence, service innovation and supporting with the development of our benchmarking capabilities.Unlock talent and develop next generation of leaders.Deliver excellent client service on our commissions through quality assurance and regular client care.Develop, mentor and support your teams on project / technical delivery.

About you

A Cost Management or Quantity Surveying Qualification or similar.Relevant experience in infrastructure.A strong knowledge of NEC and FIDIC forms of contract.Recognised expertise in Cost Management services across infrastructure (either Rail, Highways, Water & other utilities, Aviation or Energy).An excellent understanding of industry benchmarks / best practices, Work Breakdown Structures and methods of measurements (e.g. RMM, MMHW etc).Strong network within the infrastructure sector.Proven track record of service innovation, technical excellence and exceptional service delivery.Technical ability to challenge engineering teams and identify/cost efficient design solutions.Comprehensive understanding of the tasks facing transport sector and the opportunities available.Commercial and quantity surveying skills or Finance skills, with full working knowledge of the construction industry.A high level of understanding and the ability to develop performance measurement of projects using Earned Value Management (EVM) and similar techniques.Major project/programmes of work experience.
