Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator to support our estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for upcoming projects. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills, a desire to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
As an Estimator, you will work closely with project managers, estimators, and procurement teams to gather data, analyze project requirements, and assist in the development of cost proposals. Your responsibilities will include:Assisting in quantity take-offs and material/labor cost calculationsReviewing blueprints, technical documents, and specificationsPreparing and organizing bid packages and project documentationMaintaining cost databases and supplier pricing Communicating with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotesSupporting project timelines and helping track estimate revisionsThe ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of construction or manufacturing processes, excellent math and computer skills (especially Excel), and a keen eye for detail.Familiarity with estimating software is a plus but not required.Education: Associate Degree
Associate degree and/or 1-3 years of related construction industry experienceExperience: 12 months
