Job Title: Senior EstimatorJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate estimates for various construction projects, ensuring the effective management of costs and resources.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare estimates by calculating statistical data such as quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per man-hour, and equipment costs.Define and quantify the scope of work and prepare comprehensive conceptual, budgetary, and construction cost estimates for projects.Review and research historical data, compiling summary reports to develop guidelines and precedence for future estimates.
Essential Skills8+ years of estimating experience.Bachelor's degree in construction or engineering.Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.Experience in estimating stadiums, arenas, and sports training facilities.Ability to work with cross-functional teams.Experience in client-facing roles, project management, and construction management.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in commercial construction and Revit.PMP certification.Professional Engineer (PE) license.

This role offers a hybrid schedule with the potential for remote work for the right candidate. Our team is part of a high-end construction consulting office, renowned for working on elaborate and large-scale projects. As the largest cost management firm in NYC, we maintain a professional environment and are part of an England-based company, with many team members originating from England.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New York, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $90.00/hr.
