AECOM is seeking a **Cost Estimation Team Lead** to join our team in **Warsaw or in Poznan** . In this
role, you will lead our cost estimating team and be responsible for preparation of a cost documentation for
variety of infrastructure projects across Poland and Europe, serving both private and public
sector clients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Oversee and guide a team of cost estimators, ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational standards.
+ Use company estimating systems, tools, and procedures effectively.
+ Develop cost estimates at all project stages according to design accuracy and available assumptions.
+ Work closely with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
+ Communicate cost-related insights, risks, and recommendations to senior management and clients.
+ Ensure that all cost estimates adhere to company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
+ Analyse how project assumptions and design decisions impact overall cost estimates.
+ Track costs of materials and equipment.
+ Update cost plans throughout the design development process.
+ Prepare construction and bid schedules.
+ Actively participate in meetings with clients and design teams.
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum two years of experience in a similar role.
+ Proficiency in technical English is essential.
+ Excellent communication skills in an international environment.
+ **Strong knowledge of architecture, structural works, and road works, including earthworks quantity calculations** .
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
+ Proficiency with cost estimating software, MS Excel, MS Word, and NORMA PRO.
+ Familiarity with MS Project, AutoCAD and Revit is an advantage.
+ Self-driven with strong organizational skills.
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
+ Experience in independent cost estimation.
+ German language skills are a plus.
