When you need robust optical components and assembly expertise for your mission critical application, we can provide world-class solutions.“ + Provide engineering support to the Commercial team + Communicate and discuss complete specifications to Engineering & Manufacturing departments + Understand key customers’ products and services + Communicate with Commercial & Engineering to consolidate specifications and recommend configurations + Prepare quote package including drawings, cost estimates and any other required documentation + Keep informed of supplier pricing, products, and services + Drive the correct IDEX initiative of 80/20 qualification of opportunities as appropriate. + Respond to customers and co-workers in a timely and professional manner. + Actively participates in all customer support programs including development projects. + Comply with health and safety policies and procedures + Support company values including ethical conduct and high integrity in all actions. **OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Communicate company and product values to prospective customers via formal and informal presentations, meetings and communications. + Research, document and report industry trends, purchasing history and buying trends related to assigned accounts. + Maintain accurate and timely activity reports. + Participate in assigned meetings, selling events, special training programs.
