**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** • Reconcile inventory balances with general ledger accounts on a monthly basis while maintaining and validating inventory cost data to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Calculate and set standard costs for raw materials and finished goods, and analyze inventory variances resulting from standard price changes. • Prepare regular cost analyses comparing actual results to budget, propose corrective actions, and drive cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within the plant • Monitor inbound freight costs and purchase price variances (PPV), ensuring fluctuations remain within acceptable thresholds. • Prepare and review production-related accounting entries for both group and statutory reporting. • Support the Finance Manager with monthly financial reviews and variance analysis, while preparing reports and data insights to support decision-making. • Prepare financial data requested by Business Units and Headquarters for consolidation purposes. • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Marketing, Procurement, and Materials teams as a key finance business partner. • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, accounting standards, quality system requirements, and company policies, and support internal and external audit activities. • Promote a safe, ethical, and professional working environment and comply with occupational safety requirements. **Who You Are:** You make informed decisions by analyzing large sets of information and identifying patterns that others might miss.
