Cost Control Supervisor - Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah

As a Cost Control Supervisor, you will play a vital role in analyzing the costs of ingredients and materials used in our menu items, monitoring food and beverage inventory levels, and comparing actual costs to budgeted costs. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the procurement team to secure high-quality ingredients and materials at optimal prices. You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting detailed reports to management, highlighting cost trends, identifying deviations, and providing recommendations for cost-saving measures. What will I be doing?

As a Cost Control Supervisor, you will play a vital role in analyzing the costs of ingredients and materials used in our menu items, monitoring food and beverage inventory levels, and comparing actual costs to budgeted costs. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nReview the daily intake of products into the hotel and ensure accurate pricing and quantity of goods receive.\nControl the stores by ensuring accuracy of inventory and stock control and the pricing of good received.\nPrepare costing for recipes and menus prepared by the Executive Chef and suggest the selling price.\nPosting the menus and recipes in Inventory & POS systems\nChecking Daily Reports (Daily Sales, Food & Beverage Cost, Daily Flash, Outlet wise issue of Food & Beverage\nLiaise closely with the Food & Beverage department on various operational costs related issues and inform Management when expenses and costs are high and are not in line with revenues generated.\nRandom test counts in the Beverage Stores, Inventory of outlets by reconciling the opening stock with the closing stock, taking account of store issues and sales.\nAttend outlet theme nights to ensure beverage consumption is properly recorded, and no misuse has occurred.\nVerifying the inter-departmental stock transfers and review the spoilages\nCompute the cost of employee’s meals, A&G and Complimentary Food & Beverage Expenses.\nChecking Daily Reports (Daily Sales, Food & Beverage cost, Daily Flash, Outlet wise issue of Food & Beverage)\nPrepare Outlet wise F&B Revenue Analysis\nVerify Inventory Turn Over Report Monthly Basis\nVerify Outlet wise Food, Beverage & Tobacco Cost Report Monthly Basis\nConduct physical Inventory monthly & Quarterly.\nManage cost reporting on a weekly basis.\nMaintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel areas.\nMonthly MIS Reports\nPrepare Outlet wise F&B Revenue Analysis\nTest checking on the receiving of goods at the hotel and to see that the procedures are followed correctly.\nVerifying Daily Stores Receiving and Issue Report\n

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Previous Accounts/Finance experience in a high-volume department, preferably within a hotel environment
