Introduction to the job

As Cost control analyst within the Global Warehousing team, you identify how business and financial data can be used to create insights into costs and volumes, supporting managers to make decisions to increase business value. Role and responsibilities

As Cost Control analyst, you are responsible for driving our business through efficient and effective financial reporting and analysis, while making use of different data sources where your goal is to standardize and stimulate data-steered decision making. Your main focus is on providing insight for our business counterparts though reporting and analysis. Next, you support our budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and preparing inputs and facilitating discussions. You will support the teams and management to move towards having readily available information (reporting) enabling fact based decision making. You work in an ambitious team which focusses on all operational expenditures (OPEX) for all ASML warehouses across the globe, providing valuable insights to their business counterparts as well as corporate finance. You will be enabled to interact with various groups of stakeholders including senior management and provide them support within your domain. You are responsible for:

Gathering data / combining various sources of data and presenting them in understandable manner.

Presenting data to various level of managers which enables the drill down of information.

Translating business needs into financial / managerial reporting

Monthly operational review and reporting (MOR).

Ensuring business compliance to financial regulations and rules.

Cooperating with various teams to achieve short and long term goals.

Translating data into actionable information.

Pro-actively identifying opportunities to automate the reporting and forecasting processes using best practices in the market.

Providing proactive support and input on information requests.

Continuously improving our reporting landscape, enabling accessible and reliable insights requiring minimal manual input.

Education and experience

Master degree, preferably in the area of Business Economics or Business Administration/intelligence, combined with some finance/accounting knowledge.

You have 5+ years relevant working experience in business analytics/data crunching from a budget point of view.

You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).

Experience with driving monthly performance review and link it to business drivers.

You have worked with reporting solutions (ASML is using Spotfire, experience with i.e. PowerBI/Tableau is comparable) and understand the main data modeling principles.
