**Job Description** BAE Systems is seeking a Cost Analyst with exceptional analytic skills to join the Supplier Cost Analyst team. As a Supplier Cost Analyst, you will analyze supplier cost proposals and provide recommended negotiation positions to Subcontracts/ Procurement. Supplier Proposal Analyses are compliant with Electronic Systems estimating system policies and guidance, FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)/ DFARs (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations) and Truthful Cost Pricing Data (TCPD) requirements. In addition, you will support customer request for information and audits of proposed material. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor Degree preferably in a business, financial, or accounting discipline and six (6) year's work or equivalent experience or a Master s Degree with two (2) years experience. + Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties + Be able to prioritize and self-manage a multitasked workload in a fast-paced environment + Must have strong problem-solving, analytical and in-depth research skills + Effective communications skills to include writing reports of significant complexity and length. Detail oriented. + Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel and suppliers + Utilize analytical and computer skills, and various software packages to prepare appropriate reports and documents + Support the analysis, evaluation, development and implementation process and system improvements within budget while adhering to strict time requirements and schedule. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Experience in proposal preparation with a working knowledge of Project Finance, Contracts or Subcontract Administration with a working knowledge of Cost & Price Analysis for Department of Defense procurements. + A working understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) with an emphasis on FAR/DFAR compliant proposals. + Familiarity with Cost Accounting Standards, Contract Cost Principles and Procedures, and Accounting and Proposal preparation procedures **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $101398 - $172377 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
