One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Cost Analyst to work on a 12 - month assignment in their facilities in Houston, TX.

Summary:

 The Cost Specialist (Projects) will support cost management activities across major EPC and oil & gas projects.

Responsibilities:
  Developing and maintaining project cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses. Monitoring expenditures against budgets and identifying potential overruns. Supporting cost estimates and budgets for new projects and change orders. Collaborating with Project Managers, Planners, and Finance teams to provide financial insights. Preparing and presenting cost performance reports to stakeholders. Reviewing invoices, purchase orders, and contracts for compliance. Maintaining cost control systems and ensuring data integrity in EcoSys. Assisting in cash flow forecasting and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
  Strong understanding of project execution processes. Experience with major EPCs or oil & gas operators. SAP experience. Familiarity with project planning and scheduling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  Professional certifications (AACE CCP, PMP, or similar) preferred. Proficiency in EcoSys and PowerBI.
