Job Title: Cost Analyst Location: Waynesboro, Georgia Type: 3 year Contract Compensation: $32.00 hourly Contractor Work Model: Onsite System One is currently seeking a Cost Analyst on a 3 year contract position located in Waynesboro, GA. Cost Analyst Responsibilities: + Provide valuable insights that help management make informed decisions regarding budgeting, pricing, and resource allocation. + Plan, collect and analyze data to determine costs of product production such as raw material costs, labor and overhead. + Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing processes to determine impact on the cost of products. + Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports and related analysis which compares standard costs to actual production costs. + Assist in estimating cost of new and proposed products. + Provide management with reports comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products inclusive of current inflation trends. + Partnering with the operations teams to ensure proper inventory management, annual physical inventory validations and daily cycle counts are performed in accordance with policy. + Establish overhead rates for inventory and labor and update as appropriate. Cost Analyst Requirements: + Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience. + 0-5 years in related cost analysis. + Strong proficiency with office productivity applications (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word). + Experience with integrated ERP software, Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred. + Must be able to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously. + Superior organizational skills and attention to details. + Work requires effective oral and written communications skills. Strong analytical skills.
