We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Cost Analyst to support strategic operation planning and cost management initiatives across the service organization. This role will be responsible for evaluating cost structures, developing standard cost models, preparing detailed reports, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide actionable insights that contribute to informed business decisions.

Responsibilities

Provide analysis support related to cost modeling, budgeting, and cost optimization across business units. Evaluate production costs, labor, materials, and overhead to identify opportunities for cost efficiency. Establish standard costs for products and services; analyze and report on variances from actuals. Support forecasting activities by analyzing historical cost data and trends to inform future spend projections. Create and maintain reports on operational costs performance, and efficiency metrics. Partner with Finance, Operations, and other departments to align cost strategies with business goals. Assist in the development, tracking, and management of departmental budgets. Recommend process improvements and cost-control strategies to drive operational efficiency. Maintain and update cost databases and reporting tools for accuracy and consistency. Prepare and present cost analysis and insights to senior management to support decision-making. Participate in cross-functional reviews and provide cost modeling support for business cases and investment proposals. Monitor spend performance and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Education/ Qualification

Must Have:

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling tools Fluent English level verbal and written Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights effectively Strong organizational and collaboration skills

Work Experience

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a Cost Analyst role, preferably in  services, or IT environment
