Description Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain comprehensive cost models for manufactured products using the company's ERP system. • Oversee project-based costing for products, including setup, tracking, and analysis. • Analyze and manage inventory valuation for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. • Conduct regular reconciliations and analysis of cost data to ensure accuracy. • Update and review standard costs periodically to reflect current manufacturing conditions. • Monitor and explain variances in material, labor, and overhead costs. • Maintain accurate product and cost-related financial master data within the ERP system. • Assist in month-end close processes, focusing on inventory and cost of goods sold. • Generate detailed profitability reports by product, customer, and project. • Collaborate with internal teams to support cost estimation, pricing strategies, and improvement initiatives. Requirements • Proven experience in cost accounting, particularly in a manufacturing environment. • Strong understanding of standard cost accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency with ERP systems • Expertise in analyzing manufacturing variances, including labor, material, and overhead. • Ability to manage inventory valuation and reconcile discrepancies. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
