The Cost Accountant will play a key role in analyzing financial performance, improving cost efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and contributing directly to the success of each project.

Cost Accountant responsibilities:

Analyze project and operational costs to identify key cost drivers and recommend improvements Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial accuracy The successful candidate has: 3–5 years of relevant cost accounting experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Knowledge of cost accounting principles and project-based accounting Experience in engineering industry is considered an asset Compensation and benefits: The discussed salary range is $100,000 – $130,000 depending on experience Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity for long-term career growth and development Supportive and collaborative team culture Only candidates already eligible to work in Canada will be reviewed.
