We’re seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team and support manufacturing operations through insightful cost analysis, monthly reporting, and budget forecasting. This role is critical in bridging plant operations with corporate accounting, ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary cost accounting liaison between assigned plant(s) and corporate financeAnalyze material and manufacturing variances using QAD and Microsoft tools; update costs to maintain accurate reportingDeliver monthly financial reports with commentary comparing actuals to forecasts and prior year resultsPrepare performance and budget variance analyses to improve cost controls and drive efficiencyContribute to the annual budgeting process by providing accurate standards and detailed inputsSupport month-end activities including commodity cost updatesParticipate in new item setup, BOM/structure, and routing approvalsAssist with special projects as assigned by senior leadershipQualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline required2–5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment

Skills & Competencies

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracyHighly analytical with a problem-solving mindsetProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and report generationStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travel up to 5%
