Description Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is a key role supporting operational finance and driving accurate, data-driven decisions across the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: + Create and release new product costings in collaboration with Operations and Finance teams + Calculate and track overhead costs, providing regular reporting and insights + Analyze and report on variances in yield, production, and purchasing + Perform inventory cycle count analysis and assist with inventory reporting + Oversee and manage the Precious Metals process + Conduct ROI analysis and prepare supporting documentation for CAPEX requests + Maintain account reconciliations and support SOX compliance as assigned + Lead forecasting and budgeting activities for Operations cost centers (expenses, capex, headcount) + Prepare and post month-end journal entries + Support requests from external auditors during reviews and audits + Participate in cross-functional projects, including ERP implementations, system upgrades, and acquisition integrations Requirements Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Cost Accounting, Standard Cost Accounting, Cost - Standard, Cost Analysis Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
