This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.    Cost Accountant – Intern Job Purpose: The Cost Accountant – Intern will collect data, allocates costs and prepares reports on labor, equipment, depreciation, assembly or other operating expenses, ensuring that established procedures are followed. This position will also prepare financial statements and variance reports as requested.  The internship is for summer of 2026 with a duration of 8 weeks. Nature of Duties: Performing various types of financial and cost analysis (variance, account, etc)  Preparing system generated and ad hoc reports Assisting with month-end and quarter-end close processes Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports Ensuring adherence to company accounting policies and SOX 404 Performing additional projects as needed  Education and Experience: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting Computer skills to include Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Understanding of SOX 404 requirements is preferred   Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer
