**The Opportunity:**
CACI is searching for a strong Corporate Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team at our Reston, VA headquarters. Reporting to the Director of General Accounting & Policy this position is responsible for ensuring various accounting activities are accurately performed in compliance with GAAP, government compliance regulations, and internal control requirements and will have a focus on inventory and lease accounting.
This position operates within a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be present in the Reston, VA office three (3) days per week. The remaining two days may be worked remotely, allowing for a balance between in-person collaboration and independent work from home. On-site days are crucial for team meetings, client interactions, and fostering a cohesive work culture. Remote days offer flexibility and the opportunity for focused work without interruptions. Candidates should be comfortable with this arrangement and possess the ability to maintain high productivity and communication standards in both office and remote settings. The specific in-office days will be determined based on team needs and company-wide coordination.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for the general financial accounting and reporting activities of the organization with a focus on lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842.
+ Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including:
+ Prepare and record journal entries
+ Review, analyze and adjust journal entries when necessary
+ Prepare monthly account reconciliations
+ Collaborate with manager to ensure a complete and accurate month-end close
+ Ensure all internal and external financial reporting deadlines are met
+ Maintain accurate process and procedures for all reports and tasks
+ Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
+ Monitor compliance with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures
+ Assist with financial statement audit process
**Qualifications:**
_Required:_
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting or related field
+ 3+ years of experience in accounting (preferably with inventory and intercompany accounting experience)
+ Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
+ Demonstrated ability and motivation to work independently with minimal oversight
+ Proven analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills
+ Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment
+ Solid attention to detail and ability to develop technical accounting skills
+ Proven ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment
+ U.S. Citizenship Required

+ Deltek product suite experience
+ Knowledge of MRP/PLM systems
+ Public accounting and Government Contracting industry experience
+ CPA certification

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$59,600 - $122,100
