Corporate Security Manager - Threat Mitigation

Job Description:

At Regions, the Corporate Security Manager is responsible for leading an enterprise-wide security operations program.  This role ensures the safety of personnel, protection of assets, and resilience of operations through proactive risk mitigation, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic leadership. Plays a critical role in safeguarding the bank’s employees, customers, assets, and reputation. Will drive enterprise-wide resilience through proactive risk management, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the corporate security and/or threat management frameworkDevelops, implements, and manages a behavioral threat assessment program to identify, assess, and mitigate potential threats to the workplaceCollaborates with HR, Legal, Facilities, and other business leaders to align security and threat mitigation strategies with organizational goalsConducts investigations into workplace violence, threats, and security breaches, ensuring appropriate interventions and documentationLeverages technology, including AI monitoring and analytics, to enhance threat detection and situational awarenessEstablishes and maintains crisis management protocols, business continuity plans, and performance metrics for operational resiliencePromote a culture of safety through employee training, awareness campaigns, and confidential reporting mechanisms

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Psychology, or a related fieldTen (10) years of progressive experience in corporate security, threat assessment, or law enforcement, with at least three (3) years in a leadership roleOr High School Diploma or GED and fourteen (14) years of corporate security investigations or regulatory experiences, five (5) of which must be in a leadership positionDemonstrated experience managing physical security systems, emergency response, and workplace violence prevention programsStrong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to corporate security and duty of care

Skills & Competencies:

Ability to align security and threat management with enterprise risk and business continuity goalsClear and persuasive communicator with executive presence and crisis communication skillsFamiliarity with emerging threat detection technologies, AI-based monitoring tools, and incident management platformsHigh integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information and high-stakes situationsProven ability to build partnerships across departments and external agenciesSkilled in behavioral threat assessment, data analysis, and predictive risk modelingStrong understanding of physical security infrastructure, emergency planning, and incident response with leadership and organizational skills.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$114,743.20 USD

Median:

$159,080.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
