The opportunity
We have an opportunity for an experienced Corporate Security Lead to join the QBE team in Sydney, reporting to the National Workplace Manager. As the Corporate Security Lead you will offer specialised technical expertise and guidance to management and business on physical security matters, encompassing security systems and technology platforms.
Your new role
As the Corporate Security Lead you will work closely with and provide support to the National Workplace Manager to implement the Protective Security Framework. Other key responsibilities will include:
Design, document and deliver high-end technical security solutions
Support the implementation of Protective Security Policies and standards
Manage all service requests for repairs and maintenance of technical security hardware and systems
Maintain awareness of security risks or threats to the organisation and provide advice
Conduct technical risk assessments on systems and identify vulnerabilities
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, the business, and external vendors and suppliers
Conduct regular tests of systems to ensure maximum operational capability
Supporting new office fit-outs and designing security features such as CCTV and access points
About you
To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar role and will have a solid understanding and working knowledge of Corporate Security. You will also have:
Demonstrated experience working in a corporate environment
Security risk management or incident management skills
Demonstrated experience as a project manager for security integrations and other security initiatives
Experience with security systems such as Gallagher
Competency with IP Video, Network Switches and WAN Infrastructure
Preferred Certification: Security Licence
