This role is responsible for a range of legal and administrative tasks to support Stantec’s Risk Management team. **Your Key Responsibilities** + Draft legal documents including corporate resolutions, officer certificates, Powers of Attorney and transactional and other corporate documents + Provide corporate support including incorporations and dissolutions, amendments, registrations and withdrawals + Complete annual returns + Provide administrative support for our intellectual property portfolio + File management, including maintaining and updating minute books and corporate records + Prepare and draft various correspondence and documents + Perform general administrative functions as required **Your Capabilities and Credentials** + Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe and Excel applications + Very strong interpersonal and communication skills + Motivated self-starter who takes initiative, is able to multitask, and is willing to take on tasks as needed + Efficient, organized, high attention to detail, meticulous records maintenance skills + Professional and capable of handling confidential matters + Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines + Ability to work independently and in a team environment + Willingness to learn and a positive attitude are critical **Education and Experience** + Five years of legal experience (compensation and title commensurate with experience). + Business or paralegal diploma from an accredited institution is an asset. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
