Job summary:

Manages small to medium complexity legal matters, providing timely advice and negotiating contracts to ensure compliance and protect business interests. Collaborates with external counsel on claims and risk management while driving process improvements and integrating legal support across business functions.

Your role:

Collaborate with Senior Counsel to support various business groups within Philips Indonesia in all commercial transactions involving customers, channel partners, and manufacturing activities. This includes reviewing and advising on risks associated with new go-to-market models.

Provide support for Philips’ Compliance and Privacy programs in Indonesia.

Play a key role in assessing contractual issues related to distribution channel agreements, as well as matters concerning competition law, advertising, and promotional materials.

Draft and review contracts, including updating and localizing global templates, supply agreements, service contracts, retailer terms and conditions, confidentiality agreements, and letters of intent.

Work with external counsel to manage commercial disputes, settlements, and litigation.

Partner with external counsel and global Product House teams on regulatory matters involving governing bodies.

Assist in implementing new laws or changes to existing regulations impacting the business and support global projects involving Indonesia.

You're the right fit if:​

Bachelor / Master’s degree in law with additional certifications in corporate or commercial law is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate legal practice, preferably within a multinational organization.

Prior in-house experience in a multinational corporation or background in a Tier 1 Indonesian law firm specializing in corporate commercial or healthcare law is preferred. Exposure to mergers and acquisitions and corporate litigation is an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of Indonesian commercial law, competition law, and regulatory frameworks.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken).
