We are looking for a Corporate Legal Assistant to support our corporate attorneys with document preparation, filing, and transactional work. This role is ideal for someone with at least three years of law firm experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. You'll handle corporate minute books, real estate transaction documents, filing with the Secretary of State, and assist with various administrative and special projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Requirements:
Minimum three years of experience, preferably in a mid-to-large sized law firmAttention to detail including formatting, proofreading and grammarAbility to take direction from attorneys and prioritize accordinglyMaintain a high level of initiativeWork well with others in a team environmentExcellent communication skillsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF ConverterPrimary Responsibilities:
Word processing, transcribe dictation, draft and finalize correspondence and documentsMaintain filing system including timely filing, opening and closing filesPerform internet searches and library searchesMaintain corporate minute books and stock transfer ledgersPrepare closing binders and post-closing workPrepare real estate documents for corporate acquisitions or transactionsFile documents with Secretary of StateMake travel arrangementsCompile electronic document databasesReserve conference rooms and schedule client conferencesAttorney time entry, client billing, travel and expense reimbursementAssist on special projects (in other practice areas)Other tasks as neededA1425666RDU_1753814266 To Apply for this Job Click Here
