This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced attorney to join a well-established legal team within a global organization. In this role, you will serve as a trusted legal and business advisor, gaining broad exposure to the Company’s operations while providing strategic, practical day-to-day support to Troon’s facilities, business units and support organizations.
This position is based in-office at either Troon’s Scottsdale headquarters or Bradenton satellite office, and reports to Troon’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel.
Essential Duties
Serve as a trusted legal and business advisor to business units, managed facilities, and support teams. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and other legal documents. Provide legal guidance on corporate, operational, regulatory, and risk management matters. Research and interpret laws and regulations affecting business operations and strategic initiatives. Support cross-functional teams and senior leadership with practical, business-focused legal advice. Assist with dispute management, claims, and litigation in coordination with outside counsel. Identify, assess, and help mitigate legal and business risks across multiple brands and business lines. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal guidance to support compliance and operations.Minimum Qualifications
3–5 years of relevant legal experience, including transactional, commercial, regulatory, or litigation experience in an established law firm or corporation. Bachelor’s degree (business-related preferred) and J.D. required. Active license to practice law in Arizona or Florida, or admission in another U.S. jurisdiction with the ability to register as in-house counsel in Arizona or Florida. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and professionally. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities. Strong legal research and analytical skills, including proficiency with Westlaw. High attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong follow-through. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple matters concurrently. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related business productivity tools.
