JPMorgan Chase is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join our Consumer & Community Bank Financial Control team.
As a Financial Controller - Vice President within the Consumer & Community Bank Financial Control team, you will lead and manage the financial control team supporting the CCB line of business, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Job responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standardsManage the reconciliation and substantiation processes for the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial dataCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic business and financial initiatives and provide insights into financial performanceAnalyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulatory bodiesDrive process improvements and efficiencies within the financial control functionProvide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to team membersRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldMinimum of 6 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or related roles, with a strong background in the banking or financial services industryExperience with reconciliation and substantiation of the general ledgerProven track record of managing and leading high-performing teamsIn-depth knowledge of financial control processes, regulatory requirements, and accounting principlesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levelsProven expertise as a project subject matter expert, with a demonstrated ability to successfully provide robust requirements and govern user acceptance testingProficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel and financial reporting systemsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
MBA or CPA preferred
