You have an array of commercial and specialist product line experience, spanning P&C, Liability, Aviation, and more, but you do specialise in at least one product line, where you have built up solid technical skills and have a strong understanding of comm/corporate non-life insurance in general. 

If you have also gained experience in reinsurance underwriting/analysis (facultative and/or treaty), even better!  However, this opportunity would provide training in this area if not.  A great opportunity to break ground in the reinsurance space, then. 

Our client is a reputable insurer, based in JHB, offering an array of commercial and corporate product lines, with several UMA’s affiliated with them.  They are looking for your solid technical skills in analysis of risks, underwriting, renewals, etc., to support their UMA’s from an underwriting perspective in the function of a Reinsurance Analyst. 

You have the minimum years of experience, you have the required (and non-negotiable) degree in Insurance and/or Risk Management/Mathematics/Actuarial Science/Engineering/Economics/Law or LLB/similar, you have the technical understanding/experience, you have the underwriting experience, and if you have the reinsurance experience already as well, then all the better!  Here is a great opportunity for you to now further your expertise and/or career with training support on hand as well.
