River’s Edge Insurance Solutions, LLC, a licensed excess and surplus lines insurance brokerage that specializes in providing tailored insurance solutions for unique and hard-to-place risks in the standard (or admitted) insurance market, often intersecting with the entertainment and sports industriesRiver’s Edge Promotions, LLC, which provides marketing and promotional services to brands, event organizers, sports rights holders and agencies across diverse industries. River’s Edge is an affiliate of Susquehanna International Group and is uniquely positioned as a growing start-up business that is powered and supported by a global leader in quantitative trading.Our ideal candidate has strong corporate/transactional experience and an interest in building expertise in insurance regulatory matters, in particular in the area of surplus lines. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a dedicated and entrepreneurial team to drive informed business decisions and help ensure the legal and compliance aspects of our expanding operations.
In this role you will:
Provide legal advice and support on a broad range of matters, including commercial transactions, compliance with state surplus lines regulations and general business mattersReview, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of documents and agreements, including insurance policies, service agreements, confidentiality agreements, promotional terms and conditions and marketing materialsCoordinate with internal and external partners and stakeholders, including insurance companies, other brokers and service providersAssist with internal policy development and regulatory compliance programsAdvise on risk management strategies and mitigation measures to protect the company's interests and ensure regulatory complianceStay informed about legal developments, regulations and industry trends affecting surplus lines insurance to provide proactive legal adviceWhat we're looking for
