Corporate and Investment Bank COO Associate - Business Management Office

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking candidates to join our CIB Banking COO Office which drives business execution and strategy supporting the bankers and executives that lead our Subscription Finance and Portfolio Management functions. This is a hybrid role with some in office expectation.


In this role, you will:

Play a vital part in the day-to-day business management team.   Core functions relate to strategy and analysis including: client prioritization, reviewing sales and performance metrics, and working on projects spanning Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Compliance, and other key business areas.   The Associate role will collaborate with the Vertical/Product COO, front line bankers, Loan Supervision, and Group Executive.  Key responsibilities include:

Supporting COO and Group Head Executives in pipeline analysis, initiative tracking, project execution, and banker scorecardsAnalyze loan portfolios and support subscription finance product structuring, approval workflows, and deal execution coordination across business and control functionsResearching and analyzing client information and data across multiple tools and platforms, including but not limited to: Client profitability systems, Loan tracking systems, Company hierarchy management platform, and Salesforce.comAssisting in running vertical or product wide planning sessions and reoccurring pipeline meetings including preparation of presentations materials Monitoring data accuracy and integrity within CRM pipelines and internal company hierarchy management platformsBalancing workload with peers, in the US and internationally, to deliver timely work product in the fast-paced environment of corporate and investment bankingEffectively utilizing skillsets such as: project management, data analysis, problem-solving skills, financial business acumen, the ability to integrate data/financial analysis into streamlined presentations, and knowledge or ability to learn key systems including Salesforce & other internal financial reporting tools


 

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education



Desired Qualifications:

Experience working in Investment Banking, Subscription Finance/Portfolio Management, or Capital Markets operationsKnowledge and understanding of subscription finance methodologies (NAV, LP structures), UAT, Control Frameworks, Lending Facilities, etc…Financial analysis experience including company assessment (leverage, working capital, etc.), global market awareness (currency, commodities, trade, etc.), and internal client/LOB financial performanceExperience with customer relationship management systems (CRMs) such as Salesforce.comExperience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change managementExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environmentAbility to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and managementAbility to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels - flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are importantAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Ability to manipulate data sets (BI Tools, Pivot Tables, Macros)
