Corporate Accountant
We’re looking for a Corporate Accountant in the construction industry based in Edmonton, AB.

The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and supporting management with accurate and timely financial information. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both the detail of accounting and the bigger-picture impact of supporting operations.

Corporate Accountant responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Perform reconciliations and variance analysis Support internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards Collaborate with project managers to monitor costs and profitability Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
The successful candidate has:
3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in construction or a related industry CPA designation or CPA in progress Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Compensation and benefits:
The discussed salary range is $75,000 – $85,000 depending on experience Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered Comprehensive benefits package Support for CPA completion and professional development Opportunity to grow within a stable and expanding construction company Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
