Corporate Access Analyst

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Corporate Access Analyst; this role supports the coordination and delivery of high-impact meetings and events between institutional investors and corporate management teams.

Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) delivers a comprehensive suite of banking, capital markets and advisory solutions, including a full complement of sales, trading and research capabilities, to corporate, government and institutional clients. We focus on our clients' overall financial needs, with consideration and respect for their total relationship with Wells Fargo.

Ideal Candidate has worked in a Corporate Access role at another sell side firm for at least 2+ years. Position based in New York.


In this role, you will:

Participate in buying and selling securities on behalf of the clientsDetermine appropriate course of action by researching product information, and process complex or corrective transactionsReview basic or tactical issues, policies or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverablesReceive direction from a managerExercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported areaCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal customersReceive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCoordinate and execute non-deal roadshows, investor field trips, and other Corporate Access Events.Heavy logistical coordination, including, but not limited to, hotels, ground transportation, booking venues.Monitor NDR and various event schedules to ensure they are coming together while keeping an ongoing dialogue with corporate client, research analyst, and others involved.Must be able to balance Investor Relations’ goals with investor demands while ensuring a smooth execution of meetings. Must be professional, responsive and polite in difficult circumstances.Track attendance and gather investor feedback post-events to share with corporate client.Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and generate regular reporting on corporate access activities.Establish and maintain relationships with Institutional Sales & Trading, Research, Banking, Meeting & Events and other areas of the firm pertinent to the role.Effective management of budgets and expense reconciliationProvide back up to team on various events and inbound requests.Candidate will be expected to adapt to a changing environment and respond accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

6+ months of Securities Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Communications, or a related fieldAttention to detail with a focus on seamless execution.Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple events and meet strict deadlines.Effective communication skillsAccessible and responsive always; tasks and requests by client often happen outside of normal business hours - must be available to respond accordingly.Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.Preferred working knowledge of Microsoft Office, BTS/Dealogic, Ipreo, CorpAxe, & CRM


Job Expectations:

Candidate will be expected to take and pass Series 7 and Series 63 exams

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to compliance with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$104,000.00 - $168,000.00
