Apply now and discover a career where your contributions are valued, your growth is supported, and your work makes a lasting impact Job Summary: This position will be an essential member of a team responsible for financial consolidations, monthly review/analysis of corporate office and consolidated financial statements, and forecasting corporate office operations as well as closely supporting the financial reporting function. This position addresses a multitude of accounting-related activities. In addition, the position participates in the management of process improvement projects and works closely with other corporate office departments and field finance teams regarding joint ventures, debt, leases, and other matters. Primary Job Responsibilities + Consolidate financial information monthly for $17 billion+ SEC registrant & perform intercompany eliminations + Produce monthly internal financial statements for senior management + Prepare financial statements (B/S, I/S) + footnote support, and assist in the review of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q & 10-K) + Perform accounting and reporting for corporate office legal entities + Review and analyze corporate office financial statements + Manage centralized lease accounting and rent allocation process + Coordinate accounting matters with other departments and field divisions + Prepare monthly account reconciliations + Work directly with assigned departments to complete the corporate office annual plan and forecast + Crosstrain with other positions + Complete special projects as assigned Management Responsibilities + Not Applicable Scope + Decision Impact: Corporate + Department Responsibility: None + Budgetary Responsibility: No + Direct Reports: No + Indirect Reports: No + Physical Requirements: Not applicable Required Education/Experience + Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent + Minimum 1–3 year of relevant accounting or payroll experience + Public accounting experience preferred + Proficiency with accounting information systems (Lawson / Infor or Longview a plus) + Experience with intercompany journal entries + Experience with payroll systems and processes (Workday or ADP SmartCompliance a plus) Required Licensing, Registration and/or Certifications + CPA license preferred Required Skills/Knowledge + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel + Attention to detail + Ability to organize and manage multiple projects or tasks + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments + Results-oriented and deadline-focused behaviors + Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills + Demonstrated eagerness to learn + Ability to handle confidential information + Knowledge of accounting theory and practices PulteGroup, Inc. and its affiliates do not accept unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third party recruiting agencies (collectively, “Recruiters”) in response to job postings.
