Job Description
We are looking for experienced and motivated candidates for the Software Quality Assurance Lead in the Infotainment Software Group. The selected candidate will help successfully build, lead, and manage a functional and technical QA team with a strong sense of quality ownership. This role demands highly developed tactical and strategic skills as the QA lead is expected to participate actively in the continual improvement efforts.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Build an effective QA team, mentor the team and efficiently manage the resources to support the projects and ensure the quality deliveryGuide and provide feedback on team member's performance and behaviorSupport EGM on hiring process with acquisition of new talentsDefine test strategy and test plan based on software development plan for the projectsWork with the team to design detailed test cases and setup the test environmentDevelop test tools and test scripts to automate the testingPrepare test report, provide initial issue analysis, and contribute to defect preventionParticipate in the continuous improvement of test processes and methodologiesAdditional Job DescriptionRequired Skills and Experience
10+ years of software quality assurance or test experience in mobile or automotive industry, 3+ years of experience in testing Android code, 3 years as a Scrum lead, Product owner or Team LeadSolid knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and toolsStrong experience with test automation framework (e.g.: Robot Framework / Appium)Programming skills in common languages, such as Python, JAVAKnowledge of Scrum/Agile software development processKnowledge of connectivity technologiesExperience with vehicle communication network protocols (CAN, Ethernet) as a plusOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsStrong leadership skills to motivate the teams, work efficiently and deliver on time in a fast-paced work environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, coordination skills, and interpersonal skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent fieldCompensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington
Compensation: The expected base compensation for this role is: $125,000 - $191,700 Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.Benefits: GM offers a variety of health and wellbeing benefit programs. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week {or other frequency dictated by their manager}.

The selected candidate will be required to travel <25% for this role.
