What you'll do …

Lead development of manufacturing feasibility plans for new parents, new technology, and high-risk commodities. Review quality performance and evaluate enhancements for continuous improvement in interior commodity manufacturing Drive implementation of robust manufacturing quality control strategies Provide support to Site STA, engaging supplier’s Global Management team to address systemic quality, capacity, and manufacturing issues. Support the development and maintenance of interior commodity manufacturing standards Drive robust sourcing risk assessments on suppliers Collaborate with peers in STA, Product Development, and Purchasing Work with product engineering on design and engineering specifications (ES) to address feasibility issues Provide guidance to purchasing for outsourced components/assemblies related to interior commodity manufacturing process and testing procedures Coordinate efforts regarding FMA, SCCAF, pass through characteristics and quality metrics with cross-functional team Develop global lessons learned and prevent recurrence.
