The California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) in Sacramento is seeking a passionate Assistant or Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology/Training Clinic Director. This full-time position combines teaching (75%) in our APA Accredited Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program with administrative/supervisory duties (25%) in our in-house clinic, Alliant Sacramento Psychological Services (ASPS), which provides telehealth services to individuals throughout California.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Faculty: Teach graduate courses, chair dissertations, engage in scholarship, and provide service to the university and profession. Clinic Director: Oversee clinic operations, supervise graduate student training, and ensure quality client services year-round.

 

Qualifications:

PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program. Licensed or license-eligible in California. If license-eligible, must be licensed in another state or at minimum have passed EPPP. Must obtain licensure within first year of employment. Strong teaching, clinical supervision, and program management skills Commitment to cultural humility and social justice, and incorporating multicultural factors into the practice of psychology

 

Work:

Office Location: On Sacramento Campus (Hybrid on Fridays) Standard work/office hours.

 

Compensation:

Depending on qualifications:  Assistant Professor (starting) $78,294.42 or Associate Professor (starting) $93,571.38 annually Note: salary listed is for a 9-month faculty contract, paid out over 12 months Additional stipend for overseeing clinic operations during summer and winter breaks Additional compensation via summer teaching and fall/spring overload if desired Comprehensive benefits: 401K, Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts
