Location: Carrapateena, South Australia (60-minute flight from Adelaide / 30-minute flight from Port Augusta)
Roster: 8 days on; 6 days off

In This Role You Will: Comply to and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day. Be responsible for the coordination of activities across shifts and other departments in order to safely add value to business and improve efficiencies. Coordinate surface and underground maintenance activities based on production and maintenance planning schedule. Provide technical expertise within the maintenance team; Be the main point of contact for engineers performing works for the maintenance department. Manage small in-house projects and continuous improvement ideas. Foster effective and productive working relationships across all internal and external stakeholders. Be active in identifying and communicating improvements to procedures, processes or plant and participate in problem solving and troubleshooting of plant issues as required. Provide direct support to the superintendent in managing the maintenance departments. About You: Extensive experience in the mining industry in a maintenance or project roles. Strong communication and organisation skills. Strong contractor management skills. Some experience with managing budgets. Have a well-developed continuous improvement focus and be comfortable in working within systems and processes in order to facilitate change. Be able to interpret, make decisions and determine corrective actions based on data within a busy environment. Understand maintenance risk management and mitigation processes with regard to safety, plant reliability and availability. Demonstrated working knowledge of maintenance management in SAP. Demonstrated commitment to safety and ensuring all work practices are reflective of our Charter Values. A background in electrical maintenance or engineering is highly desirable.
