Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Experience in work preparation, production planning, or methods engineering.Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Work PreparationAnalyze technical drawings, specifications, and production orders to prepare accurate work instructions.Define required materials, tools, and equipment for production.Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and routing sheets.Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all work instructions.Methods & PlanningDevelop and optimize manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Plan production sequences and workflows to maximize resource utilization.Collaborate with engineering to implement new technologies and processes.Conduct time studies and capacity analyses to support production planning.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).CollaborationAct as a liaison between production, engineering, and quality departments.Support training of production staff on new methods and processes.Provide feedback to design teams regarding manufacturability and process improvements.
