As Coordinator II, you will work with nurse managers and the surgical operations team to coordinate the department schedule of individuals and resources, maintain the utilization of operating rooms and develop department resource database to facilitate management of various project activities. You also will work closely with vendors to bring items for fundraisers, work on creating pop up sales while doing inventory and purchasing. This position provides opportunities for growth internally, with the ability to into leadership positions.

A caregiver in this role works days from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Collect, maintain and report information for the department such as patient information, budgets, employee PTO and schedules.

Assist with the coordination of various department activities by distributing reports, facilitating the analysis and reporting of information.

Function as department liaison by coordinating various activities and providing customer support to internal and external customers.

Assist with performance evaluations, counseling and on-boarding of new employees.

Perform duties related to the preparation, implementation and analysis of special studies and projects.

Maintain office supplies and equipment.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

High School Diploma or GED

Three years of experience coordinating and assisting with management functions and special projects

Proficient with spreadsheets, word processing and database software

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

Ability to operate a computer and other office and laboratory equipment

Ability to travel throughout the hospital system

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
