This role involves ensuring the maintenance and functionality of all hospital facilities and equipment, managing projects, and supporting the engineering team to provide a safe and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate and supervise the maintenance and repair of hospital facilities, equipment, and systems. • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and safety of all equipment. • Manage engineering projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling. • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve facility-related issues. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and project progress. • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards. • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the engineering department. • Provide training and support to engineering staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. • Monitor and manage the department's budget and resources effectively. • Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently. Qualifications: • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or engineering, preferably in a healthcare setting. • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. • Excellent organizational and project management skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and communicate effectively. • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards applicable to healthcare facilities. Working Conditions: • Full-time position with occasional on-call responsibilities. • May require working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
